About Us
We are a mother and daughter (Ali and Jemma) independent business in the Kidlington Centre. When you come and visit us a warm welcome will greet you. We are delighted to carry on a family tradition of owning and running a sweet shop. Our grandparents/great grandparents had a sweet shop in the covered market, Oxford. In Stanley’s we proudly display a photo taken by the Oxford Mail. It shows our grandad/great grandad outside his sweet shop serving customers on Christmas Eve 1961.
As well as carrying on a family tradition we are also retaining a family name. Arthur Stanley (great grandfather/great, great grandfather) had a pork butcher shop in Bridge Street, Worksop. Like us he was serving his local community. We have both lived and grown up in Kidlington and are excited to now be part of the Kidlington Centre and High Street retail community.
What We Offer
We look forward to welcoming you when you visit Stanley’s Sweets and Treats. You will find many traditional sweets plus so much more, including American sweets and sugar free. Our popular Pick n Mix can be bought loose, or we can make bespoke bags for any occasion or event, We offer super milkshakes, hot drinks and cold treats ranging from milkshakes with a treat to hot chocolate made from Belgian chocolate to a great smoothie. You can have your drinks in or take away. Our prices compare well so come and check us out.
